Mommy's sisters came to visit us and to see all of our new tricks. Aunt Kathy and Aunt Kim took care of us overnight so mommy & daddy could have a night out of the house.
Lindsay & I had mixed feelings, while we knew our babies were in excellent hands and looked forward to some adult time and uninterrupted sleep, we found it funny that we spent most of our time talking about the twins. We find it funny how much these new arrivals changed our lives. We became parents and nothing we used to enjoy seems as fulfilling. Think we were all surprised when we arrived back home from our date night at 10 a.m.
Kathy & Kim seemed to really enjoy their visit, reliving baby days. While the "ground hog day" aspects of this phase of our lives seems very routine, it seems to be a blink of the eye and our babies will be grown-ups.
We are enjoying the journey with our very individual and unique children!
