I remember when we found out we were having twins, I had an impression that we would have a little girl. Through out our pregnancy Neisha maintained her position as Baby A (first born), although she avoided the sonogram conformation effectively by crossing her legs or moving out of view. Each time Dr. Walker would say, I'm pretty sure Baby A is a girl. Bonding prior to birth is an interesting experience. From the first time I felt Neisha move, I was very aware of her presence, even though she moved less drastically than her brother Dylan. Every so often, Neisha would decide to get her fair share of space, causing my stomach to morph into almost a point as she moved to Dylan's side. I'm pretty sure her upper body strength and will was developed early with her brother sitting on her and taking up most of the womb space.
Neisha is a joy to watch. She is stunning to look at, with her thick black hair, eye lashes, eye brows and dark blue eyes. She looks beautiful in every color, from yellow to red and every color in between. She catches your eye through her expressions which Daddy tries to capture in film and video.
Neisha is determined. Look out world, she doesn't stop until she accomplishes what she sets her mind to... now we are talking escaping from swaddles ... tomorrow, time will only tell. I find the mirror in Neisha to be both exciting and terrifying. Raising someone with so many similarities to oneself clearly is a chance of a lifetime.
Daddy & I love Neisha very much. We find so much joy in the adventure and look forward to exploring life through Neisha's eyes.
