Mommy and Daddy had no idea what it would feel like to go through our first cold with us. We guess it is their first real experience with wanting to 'fix it' as parents. As newborns, we don't get to take anything, we have to suck it up and get through it. They say, what doesn't kill you will make you stronger. We are wondering if that saying was meant for adults. We smiled through it all even with snot running down our faces and after trying to cough up a lung.
Daddy, Mommy and Grandma Gemma went into over drive taking care of us. We were lucky we only got a cough and cold. Mommy monitored our temperature, made us sleep in our car seats and scolded Daddy for turning down the humidifiers.
We seem to be getting better, just in time for our neighbor Betsy and Daddy to come down with it.
